All in all everything was first-class, had a perfect stay in late September 2013. The staff was best, as well as host. My double room was large with a view. The breakfast was enjoyable and delicious with from yoghurts to fresh homemade brown bread and fresh homemade brown bread, as example, perfect to start my day.

The room was beautifully decorated, with artistic touches that reflect the local culture.
The shower could benefit from a stronger water pressure .

A magical stay with fine views
The room was spacious, boasting a fabulous view, and the breakfast included fresh options that were delicious. Josephine even took extra care by recommending local attractions. I wish the shower had a bit more power, but overall, my experience was fantastic!

Very nicely designed rooms and a good, big bed. not in the town center, but a quick walk which is very good after dinner. Breakfast was very good. Make sure to order the pancakes even though they are not on the breakfast menu.

Room clean, pretty decor, good bedding, large bath (poor water pressure and shower has had controls replaced but still needs work - worst shower we've experience in years), good breakfast.
From your description, I reserved the Double Room with the Sea View; it was not available; the hostess showed us her reservation record which only showed "no smoking". Our confirmation email clearly indicated "Sea View". We took the smaller Double Room (without the sea view - same price) because we were not interested in looking for an alternative choice after we arrived in Bantry. Not sure if your process failed to communicate the room selection of if the property manager's "overbooked". I suspect the latter because of the comment "there is not much to see today (rainy) anyway" from the hostess after we called it to her attention. Either way, not a happy experience after telling my wife we had a sea view and then did not. --------------------------------------------------------- your room descriptions below Double Room with Sea View Prices are per room Included in room price: 9 % VAT, Breakfast. • FREE cancellation • Breakfast included US$ 101.28 Last chance! The Double Room with Sea View was spacious and super clean. I loved the comfy bed and the amazing view of Bantry Bay-seriously, it was a highlight! The attention to detail was excellent, like the bathrobes and heated hair brush provided. Just note, the shower could've used a bit more power. But overall, it felt cozy and cute while being beautifully decorated.

We loved everything about Eden Crest and would highly recommend it ! Such a warm welcome from lovely Josephine, despite us having stayed there the last 2 days of the season !! a beautiful home, fabulous views, a spacious and comfortable room with a breathtaking view. Well situated to visit the very nearby Beara Peninsula and Sheeps Head Peninsula, wonderful places for walkers. And other marvellous places such as Killarny are not too far away either. A very peaceful and restful stay, thank you Josephine and hoping to see you again.....Tina a couple of comments in French : Un accueil hors normes, une maison impeccable, des vues slendides, n'hesitez pas a decouvrir Eden Crest, vous ne serez pas decu...

It was an outstanding stay. Excellent location, friendly staff. The breakfast included was excellent value rather than the usual continental tea and toast. The location is 15 min from bantry town and the view is lovely. Ample parking. Flexible on checkin time and absolutely spotlessly clean.
